About ReVibe
Three unsigned bands, hundreds of demos, and one part of making a record that nobody would explain. ReVibe is the tool I couldn’t find.

The songs were finished. The record wasn’t. And the one part that would have fixed it was the one part nobody would explain.
I’ve been playing instruments since 1988. Three unsigned bands, two of them I managed myself, and somewhere along the way hundreds of demos — some in proper studios, most on whatever DAW I was hooked on that year.
And every one of them ended the same way: in no man’s land.
The songs were finished, but the record wasn’t. One track louder than the next. One mix bass-heavy, the one after it thin. Play them back to back and they sounded like four different bands. The pros clearly knew how to fix this — you could hear it on every commercial release — but the fix lived behind studio doors and studio prices, and nobody would even tell you plainly what “mastering” actually consisted of. It was the one part of making music that stayed a secret.
My band Shelta had real moments — enough of them to be sure the problem was never the songwriting. Every line below is checkable, and one of them is still online.
I predict Shelta to be the dark-horse band of 2010.

Filthy… dirty! — and that’s a compliment from where I come from.

A double-page spread — the first unsigned band they’d ever given one to.
We also put a track on Causing a Scene, the March of the Mods album for the Teenage Cancer Trust.

The songs could clearly travel. The recordings still couldn’t finish.

Everything except the last step
Electronic drum kits, the latest guitar modelling, DAWs with preamp modelling — if it promised to close the gap between my demos and a real record, I bought it and I got hooked.
Everything got better except the last step. The finished song still went out unfinished.

So I built it
ReVibe is the tool I couldn’t find.
Upload your track and hear it mastered — properly level-matched against your original, so you’re hearing the mastering and not just “louder”. Compare three versions. Pay only when one of them is the record you heard in your head. £5.99, no subscription, no studio invoice.
I’ve been on your side of this my whole life. The four rules below are not marketing positions — they are the reasons the product is shaped the way it is.
The comparison is free and level-matched — an honest A/B, not a loudness trick.
There are no subscriptions, and nothing is ever charged without you choosing it.
Your purchases are stored free for three months and we email you before anything is ever deleted. Download your files and they’re yours for good.
All processing is technical and automated — no person listens to your audio, and ReVibe does not use your music to train or improve its processing systems.
Shelta demos — the same recordings that sat in no man’s land for years, including It’ll Be Alright, one of the songs Scootering wrote about when they reviewed us live in 2011.

They’re finished now. Yours will be too.
